    Orange zest

    INSTRUCTIONS

    1 Preheat your oven to 180°C.

    2 In a bowl, mix the flour, butter, brown sugar, vanilla extract and egg.

    3 Chop the chocolate into chips. Grate the orange zest.

    4 Stir in the chocolate chips, coarsely chopped pecans and orange zest.

    5 Let the dough rest for 30 minutes at room temperature.

    6 Cover the baking sheet of your oven with parchment paper and place small balls of dough 4 cm in diameter on it.

    7 Bake in your oven for about 17 minutes. The cookies look soft but they will harden on the outside.

    8 Let cool on a baking rack.
