Frozen coconut and chocolate terrine
Chocolate recipes from Cailler, for moments of sweet bliss: Frozen coconut and chocolate terrine


Preparation time: approx. 15 mins
Freezing time: approx. 12 h
For a terrine mould of approx. 500 ml capacity or a cake form of approx. 20 cm, prepare form (see Tip 1).

  1. Melt chocolate and butter (see Tip 2).
  2. Add condensed milk and all ingredients up to and including peppermint, pour into prepared form. Cover and freeze for approx. 12 hours.

To serve
Turn terrine out onto a board, remove cling film. Allow to thaw slightly, cut into slices, arrange on plates. Decorate with peppermint and coconut shavings set aside earlier.

Tip 1: Brush form with oil, line with cling film.
Tip 2: Melt the chocolate and butter in a small, thin-walled bowl over a pan of gently simmering water, stir until smooth.
