Chocolate pouches with fruit
Tempting dessert inspirations from Cailler: Chocolate pouches with fruit


Preparation time: approx. 30 mins
Baking time: approx. 10 mins 

  1. Carefully unfold the sheets of dough, lay 2 sheets on top of each other, cut in half length- and widthways and lay on a cloth. Brush sheets of dough with melted butter. 
  2. Melt the chocolate in a small, thin-walled bowl over a pan of gently simmering water, stir until smooth. Coat pieces of strudel dough with chocolate.
  3. Mix banana, apple and biscuits, divide between the pieces of dough (see Tip 1). Shape the pieces of dough into pouches (see Tip 2). Place the chocolate pouches on an oven tray lined with baking parchment.

approx. 10 minutes in the middle of oven preheated to 200°C.
Cool pouches on a wire rack, dust with icing sugar.

Tip 1: Place 1/8th of the filling in the centre of each of the coated pieces of dough.

Tip 2: Bunch the corners of the dough together over the filling to create small pouches.
