Step 1
Preheat your oven (180°C). Cut the chocolate with a knife into large chocolate pieces. In a bowl, pour the sifted flour, sugar, yeast, cut the butter into cubes and incorporate it into the dough with your fingertips. Split the vanilla pod and collect the seeds.
Step 2
Make a well, pour in the center a beaten egg with the milk, the vanilla seeds, then work the dough quickly. Add the chocolate chips.
Step 3
Flour your work surface and roll out the dough to a thickness of about 2cm. Using a fluted cookie cutter, cut circles of dough 5-6 cm in diameter.
Step 4
Place them on the baking sheet covered with parchment paper and brush them with the beaten egg.
Step 5
Bake in your oven for about 18 minutes on a rotating heat.
