Step 1
Preheat the oven to 200°C.
Step 2
Melt the milk chocolate in a bain-marie.
Step 3
Remove puff pastry from refrigerator to handle as cold as possible and cut in half lengthwise.
Step 4
Spread the melted milk chocolate on one of the puff pastry rectangles.
Step 5
Place second puff pastry rectangle on top of chocolate layer and cut into 12 strips about 1.5 cm wide.
Step 6
Roll up each strip twice, creating a shape similar to the above image: a circle on the bottom and two ends pointing up.
Step 7
Place the puff pastry bunnies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and brush with the beaten egg.
Step 8
Bake in the middle of the oven for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
Step 9
Meanwhile, melt the dark chocolate in a bain-marie.
Step 10
Once out of the oven, brush the ears of the puff pastry bunnies with dark chocolate and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
Step 11
Decorate the puff pastry bunnies as you wish.
