Chocolate star shortbread

Star-shaped cookies that shine with their flavor. Easy to make, adorable to look at, they bring a sprinkle of magic (and lots of chocolate) to your shared moments.

Step 1

In a bowl, combine the flour, sugar and pinch of salt. Mix and form a well.

Add butter, egg and vanilla paste. Work into a smooth dough with the kitchen robot or by hand.

Shape dough into a ball and wrap in plastic film. Refrigerate for 1 hour.

Take the dough out of the fridge and preheat the oven to 180°C.

Roll out dough on a floured work surface to a width of about 5 mm.

Cut out stars with a cookie cutter and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake in the middle of the oven for 9-10 minutes.

Melt the chocolate in a bain-marie.

Dip the stars halfway into the chocolate

Sprinkle grated coconut over the chocolate and refrigerate for 1 hour.
