Step 1
In a bowl, combine the flour, sugar and pinch of salt. Mix and form a well.
Step 2
Add butter, egg and vanilla paste. Work into a smooth dough with the kitchen robot or by hand.
Step 3
Shape dough into a ball and wrap in plastic film. Refrigerate for 1 hour.
Step 4
Take the dough out of the fridge and preheat the oven to 180°C.
Step 5
Roll out dough on a floured work surface to a width of about 5 mm.
Step 6
Cut out stars with a cookie cutter and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Step 7
Bake in the middle of the oven for 9-10 minutes.
Step 8
Melt the chocolate in a bain-marie.
Step 9
Dip the stars halfway into the chocolate
Step 10
Sprinkle grated coconut over the chocolate and refrigerate for 1 hour.
