Step 1
Preheat the oven to 200°C, traditional heat.
Step 2
In a bain-marie, melt the crushed chocolate with the butter. Let it cool down.
Step 3
Whisk the eggs.
Step 4
Add the milk and melted chocolate to the eggs and mix.
Step 5
Add the sugar, flour, cocoa powder and baking powder to the egg mixture. Mix until there are no more lumps.
Step 6
Pour the mixture into a 20cm long cake tin lined with baking paper.
Step 7
Sprinkle the chocolate drops over the cake.
Step 8
Bake the cake and lower the oven temperature to 150°C. Bake for 60 minutes, or until the tip of a knife comes out dry.
